This morning, we dive into the historic roots of the United States during a guided walk through Philadelphia — a pivotal city in the story of American independence.
After the tour, we head to Philly VegFest, a lively celebration bringing together vegan food vendors, ethical brands and inspiring speakers. Enjoy time to sample local specialties, meet makers and soak up the welcoming plant-based community atmosphere.
The afternoon is free to continue exploring. Visit a museum, discover the city’s famous murals, shop for vegan treats or relax before dinner.
Tonight’s culinary highlight is dinner at the award-winning Vedge, where we experience their renowned tasting menu featuring signature dishes and seasonal creations.
If you wish to continue the evening, you may join fellow travelers for an optional nightcap at the atmospheric vegan bar Charlie was a Sinner., just a short walk from our hotel.

After breakfast, we meet a guide from the American Vegan Center for a fascinating walking tour exploring Philadelphia’s important role in the history of vegetarianism and veganism. Along the way, you’ll discover surprising stories — including early references to tofu in America during the time of Benjamin Franklin. Of course no real foodie tour to Philadelphia would be complete without trying a Philly Cheesesteak and vegan versions do not disappoint!
In the afternoon, we conclude our weekend with a memorable hands-on culinary experience: a private cooking demonstration and tasting at the beloved Miss Rachel's Pantry, known for its comforting, creative plant-based cuisine and warm hospitality.
Tour concludes mid-afternoon. You are welcome to extend your stay and continue exploring Philadelphia’s thriving vegan scene - plus, there is a soccer game happening tonight - Cote d´Ivoire is facing Ecuador right in Philly for World Cup 2026!
Don´t miss out on this epic weekend!
