For the very best view of the city - how it is surrounded by water, the layout and beautiful buildings, a helicopter ride is hard to beat!
There are many options and all are similar, but you can book one here.
You will probably have to narrow down which viewing platform to visit. One of my favorites is Edge (there is also a bar and restaurant with limited vegan options up there), Top of the Rock (love it in the fall!) and iconic Empire State Building (you can often see it as ESB)
Even if you are not a huge art lover, you will be blown away by MoMa´s collection and recognize many of the masterpieces on display.
The museum is free on the first Friday of the month for NY residents. For others and other times, you can purchase tickets here.
In remembrance of the events that took place on September 11, 2001, take this tour of Ground Zero and the National September 11 Memorial. Walk through the space of the former World Trade Center in New York City. Get a deeper understanding of the events that took place here. The memorial can be visited free of charge.
Experience RiseNY, a simulation attraction that gives visitors a bird's-eye view of the city, paired with museum exhibit galleries. Soar over NYC’s five boroughs, experience all four seasons, and ring in the New Year all year round while seated inside a 180-degree projection dome that gives the sensation of flight. Plus, discover New York history and culture.
