Come join us for a vegan pop-up dinner in a beautiful Hudson Valley, NY home in Gardiner. Started a few years back in Brooklyn, our popular vegan dinners are now coming to the HV.
These multi course dinners (at least four courses) are a great way to sample various vegan dishes, all paired with vegan wines from Vegan Wines (please make sure you have a designated driver if you take the wine pairing). It is also a great way to connect with local foodies in the area and meet new people.
We focus on local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible.
In July, for example, the theme is "La Dolce Vita" and will feature Italian favorites such as minestrone, homemade pasta and tiramisù.
July´s dinner will take place on July 29th, 6pm.

What is Gemüslichkeit, you might wonder? It is a word a friend created and consists of the German words Gemüse (vegetables) and Gemütlichkeit (a very tough-to-explain word implying coziness, being comfortable).
Verena, the event´s chef and founder of Vegan Tours NY, is originally from Austria and therefore, speaks fluent German. She grew up about a 30 minute drive from the Italian border and has been to Italy countless times - sometimes just for a meal!
